Technology Advisor for Brownsville & the Rio Grande Valley

AIS (Advanced Interface Solutions) is a technology advisor based in Brownsville, TX. We help businesses across Cameron, Hidalgo and Willacy counties compare and buy business phones, fiber internet, POTS line replacement, cybersecurity, cloud and mobility services from 400+ suppliers, and we manage the rollout at no cost to you. We meet by phone or video, so you get the same service whether you’re in Brownsville, Raymondville or Mission.

Why a local advisor matters in the Valley

Technology in the Rio Grande Valley has its own quirks:

  • Fiber availability changes block by block. Two buildings a few miles apart in the same city can have very different internet options and prices. We check availability address by address.

  • Copper lines are being retired. AT&T has FCC authorization to discontinue legacy POTS service in parts of Texas on or after November 15, 2026. An independent extract of the affected wire-center list includes Port Isabel and Rio Hondo. Fire alarm, elevator and gate lines across the Valley need a plan. POTS replacement

  • Business crosses the border. Manufacturers, logistics firms and distributors coordinate with operations in Mexico, so they need reliable connectivity, cross-border mobility and strong security.

  • Customers speak English and Spanish. Phone menus and contact centers often need to be bilingual. Contact center

  • Weather happens. Hurricane season makes backup internet, battery-backed lines and tested disaster recovery more than nice-to-haves. Internet and SD-WAN
