Contact Center and AI Customer Experience (CCaaS)

A cloud contact center (CCaaS) routes every customer call, chat, text and email to the right agent, gives supervisors live reporting, and increasingly adds AI that answers routine questions and summarizes calls. AIS compares contact center and AI platforms from 400+ suppliers, designs the setup with you, and manages the rollout, at no cost to you.

Signs you’ve outgrown your current setup
  • Customers wait on hold or get transferred more than once

  • Agents switch between the phone system, the CRM and a spreadsheet to answer one question

  • You can’t see how many calls were abandoned yesterday, or why

  • After-hours calls go to a voicemail box nobody checks

  • Spanish-speaking customers can’t reach a Spanish-speaking agent quickly

  • Your contact center contract renews soon and you’ve never compared it

What we help you compare
  • Cloud contact center platforms: inbound and outbound voice, IVR, skills-based routing, queue callbacks and real-time dashboards.

  • Omnichannel: chat, SMS, email and social messages in one agent desktop.

  • AI and automation: AI virtual agents for common questions, agent assist, automatic call summaries, sentiment analysis and AI quality monitoring.

  • Workforce engagement: scheduling, forecasting, call recording and coaching.

  • CRM integration: screen pops and call logging with Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, Zoho and others.

  • Compliance: call recording retention, PCI-safe payments, and consent and opt-out handling for outbound calling and texting.

A note on outbound calling and texting rules

If you send automated calls or texts, the rules on how customers can opt out are changing. The FCC published revised TCPA consent-revocation rules in the Federal Register on October 26, 2026, effective November 25, 2026. Among other changes, callers can treat an opt-out from one category of informational messages as applying only to that category, and can designate an exclusive opt-out method if it’s clearly disclosed. Your platform and scripts should support this. Talk to your counsel about your specific obligations. AIS can make sure the platform you choose handles consent tracking well.

How AIS runs a contact center project
  1. Customer journey mapping. We trace what happens from the moment a customer calls or messages until the issue is resolved.

  2. Requirements and shortlist. We turn that journey into requirements and bring two or three platforms that fit your size and budget.

  3. Demos built around your scenarios. You see your own call flows in each platform, not a generic sales demo.

  4. Implementation management. We coordinate number porting, CRM integration, IVR and queue design, and agent training.

  5. Ongoing advocacy. We help with escalations, add-ons and renewal negotiations.

Frequently asked questions
What is CCaaS?

CCaaS (contact center as a service) is cloud software that runs a customer service or sales team. It routes calls, chats, texts and emails to agents, records interactions, and reports on performance, with no on-site hardware.

What’s the difference between UCaaS and CCaaS?

UCaaS is the everyday business phone and collaboration system for all employees. CCaaS is built for teams that handle high volumes of customer interactions, with queues, routing, reporting and quality tools. Many businesses use both, often from the same provider.

Can AI really answer our customer calls?

AI virtual agents handle routine requests well, such as order status, appointment changes, hours and simple account questions, and hand everything else to a person with context. We help you decide which interactions to automate and compare AI options across suppliers.

Can you set up a bilingual English and Spanish contact center?

Yes. We design IVRs, routing and agent skills so callers can choose their language and reach a qualified agent, and we compare platforms on their Spanish-language AI and transcription.

What does AIS charge?

Nothing. Suppliers compensate AIS when you choose a solution through us, so the comparison, design help and project management are free to you.
