Mobility and IoT for Business

Business mobility and IoT covers every device that needs a cellular connection: employee phones and tablets, vehicle trackers, handheld scanners, sensors, cameras and backup routers. AIS compares plans and platforms across carriers and specialists from 400+ suppliers, consolidates what you have, and keeps devices tracked, at no cost to you.

Where mobility costs get out of hand
  • Lines for former employees that were never cancelled

  • Devices on outdated, expensive plans because nobody reviewed them

  • Different carriers and bills for phones, trackers and routers

  • No way to lock or wipe a lost device with company data on it

  • Fleet or IoT devices losing signal along routes or inside large buildings

What we help you compare
  • Business wireless plans: pooled data, international and Mexico roaming options, and device financing across major carriers.

  • Mobile device management (MDM): enroll, secure, lock and wipe company phones and tablets.

  • Fleet tracking and telematics: GPS tracking, driver safety and maintenance alerts for trucks and service vehicles.

  • IoT connectivity: multi-carrier SIMs and management platforms for sensors, kiosks, cameras, meters and equipment.

  • Private LTE and 5G: dedicated wireless coverage for large plants, warehouses and yards.

  • In-building cellular coverage: signal boosters and distributed antenna systems where phones don’t work indoors.

  • 5G and LTE backup internet: keep sites online when the main connection fails.

How AIS runs a mobility or IoT project
  1. Inventory and bill review. We list every line and device, who uses it and what it costs.

  2. Clean-up. We find unused lines and plan mismatches to cut or fix right away.

  3. Compare. We price carrier plans, IoT platforms or private wireless that fit your coverage needs.

  4. Rollout. We coordinate porting, device shipping, MDM enrollment and activation.

  5. Ongoing management. We help with adds, changes, upgrades and renewals.

Serving Brownsville, the Rio Grande Valley and clients nationwide

Logistics companies, distributors and service fleets in the Valley often run routes across South Texas and into Mexico, and large plants and warehouses can be hard to cover indoors. AIS, based in Brownsville, TX, compares coverage and roaming for businesses in Brownsville, Harlingen, McAllen and across the RGV, and manages mobile and IoT programs for clients nationwide. Frequently asked questions
Can you lower our business cell phone bill?

Often, yes. Most savings come from cancelling unused lines, moving devices to plans that fit their use, and negotiating at renewal. We review your bills and show the savings before you change anything.

What is an IoT SIM?

An IoT SIM is a cellular SIM card built for devices like trackers, sensors and routers instead of phones. Multi-carrier IoT SIMs can switch networks for better coverage, and their management platforms let you activate, monitor and suspend devices in bulk.

Do you support fleets that travel into Mexico?

Yes. We compare carrier and IoT options with North American roaming or coverage and look at actual coverage along your routes.

What is private 5G and do we need it?

Private LTE or 5G is a cellular network dedicated to your site, used where Wi-Fi struggles, such as large plants, yards and warehouses with moving equipment. It’s not right for everyone, and we’ll tell you if Wi-Fi or a booster would do the job for less.

What does AIS charge?
